This contract covered major upgrade works to an existing airated pond system. It included the addition of a new inlet screen and a tertiary disc filter. The design was by Opus. Service Engineers Ltd's contract included the installation of the ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC and PE pipe work, together with pumps, valves, and the blanace of mechanical plant items. It also included the fabrication and installation of access platforms and landings. Service Engineers Limited also carried out the mechanical plant commissioning in conjunction with others responsible for the MCC and PLC units.
